  • “The joie de vivre in Paris”
Staying at Les 3 Chambers affords an authentic peek into the life and world of a very comfortable and proud Parisian. Laurent is a gracious host and he speaks English well. Our breakfasts were customized to accommodate both our dietary needs and likes. Laurent knows Paris and his suggestions for how to manage the city were spot on. If you are looking for an elegant and rather formal stay in a stunning city, look no further.

  • “Fantastic stay! »
We had a lovely 4 night stay at this exquisite B&B. Laurent was the perfect host and it was a privilege to stay in his home. The location was great, just a ten minute walk from gard du nord and a lovely 30 minute stroll to the heart of Paris through the covered arcades that Laurent recommended. The B&B was perfection itself and the room was lovely and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious with Laurent’s home made preserves a special treat. We would thoroughly recommend it for a special stay in Paris.

  • “Amazing stay in Paris”
It was an amazing stay with my wife in Les 3 Chambres. We had wonderful time because not only the room and dining are so beautiful and kept clean but Laurent is so kind and helpful for us. We felt as if we lived in Paris. The room is so quiet and his hospitality is great. The guide map which he made was very useful and he always helped us for everything like choice of good restaurants and tours of museums and shops. Fortunately we visited Picaso museum just reopened in 25th Oct. 2014. We enjoyed his wonderful breakfast and conversation with him. We were the 3rd Japanese guest. Though we are not so good at English, he is always so kind and gentle for us with smile. The place is also very convenient since Metro station « Cadet » is only two minutes walk from Les 3 Chambres. So we enjoyed Paris. And we walk around Les 3 Chambres and found beautiful passage, restaurants and shops such as chocolates, cheese, wine and etc. We thank him for his kindness from bottom of our heart. We want to visit Les 3 Chambres again. Many thanks!!

  • “Wonderful B&B”
Laurent made us extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. The appartment is exquisitely decorated with great thought to every small detail. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and extremely quiet. There are many thoughtful touches in the room’s decor which lifts it above other B&Bs. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cakes, unusual teas and coffees. Nothing is too much trouble for Laurent and he recommended some unusual places to visit which we wouldn’t have known about. This is the sort of place one always hopes to discover but rarely does. We will choose to stay here again when we next return to Paris.

  • “’Mini-moon’ in Paris”
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful ‘mini-moon’ in Paris – staying for 4 nights in the fabulous les3chambres. The owner, Laurent, was welcoming, helpful and an excellent host.
The room (we stayed in Room 2) was so comfortable (the beds are a dream), quiet, spotlessly clean with beautiful and interesting décor, luxury toiletries (I had to go out and purchase the same gorgeous diffuser which was in our bathroom!) and fabulous, modern and quirky touches.
The breakfasts were delicious and served in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. We were able to choose what time our breakfast would be served each morning, which was perfect for us as we were much in need of some rest post-wedding!
Laurent provides an excellent map of central Paris which we used throughout our trip, for the walks (the galleries are a must-see) and the wonderful restaurants/cafes that are recommended on the map. Every restaurant Laurent suggested to us was perfect – we are both foodies and were in food heaven for our entire stay. None of the restaurants were touristy and we really felt that we were getting a taste of real Parisian life.
Les 3 Chambres is in an excellent central location so all the main sights (as well as the Gare Du Nord) are within easy walking distance. There is also a metro stop a few minutes walk from Les 3 Chambres and the line is one which takes you into the heart of Paris – perfect.
We would recommend Les 3 Chambres in a heartbeat and look forward to returning.

  • “Excellent atmosphere and service”
This was our first trip to Paris and we only had a few days, but not to worry because we had Laurent. Whatever questions we had, he had the answers and excellent advise. We look forward to our next trip to Paris, and of course we will be staying at Les 3 Chambers. In addition the atmosphere was marvelous and the breakfast fresh, tasty and very french!!!!

  • « A perfect retreat! »

Les3chambres is a perfect place for couples and single travellers when you are looking for a private, cosy and authentic hideout. Amenities even meet the requirements of business travellers. Sourly the place is nothing for purists but for people who are looking for a warm and welcoming place and/or for design enthusiasts.
The host Laurent is heart and soul of les3chambres. He is extremely friendly, helpful and more then open to tell you stories about his special place.
He is always good for a surprise, especially when it comes to his fine bakery skills.

If you are overtired and in need of a stronger coffee, just ask for it and you get a perfect Pitch-Black-Brew 🙂

We truly enjoyed our stay, would come back every time and recommend to our friends (only the good ones).

    Thanks you Laurent.
    Anika & Roland

  • “sublime !!”

  • “Fantastic return stay at Les 3 Chambres”

My husband and I stayed with Laurent in April 2013. We were thrilled to return 2 years later for our babymoon. It was just as wonderful as we remembered! Breakfast is definitely one of my favorite parts of the day when staying here. Fresh baguettes and croissants with homemade jams, fruit salad and freshly squeezed juice. My husband really enjoys the French pressed coffee. Laurent also bakes excellent cakes and madeleines. We stayed in the same room, and it feels like home away from home. Very clean, tidy, and fabulously designed.

Part of what makes the experience so enjoyable is Laurent’s responsiveness. Prior to our trip (and before our previous trip as well), I requested his assistance with contacting restaurants for dinner reservations. He was extremely helpful with this. Since our last visit, he has also launched a new app that is a great resource for visitors. It is great to see that he is always trying to find ways to improve the experience for his guests.

We are so thankful that we discovered Laurent’s B&B 2 years ago and that we were welcomed so warmly again for this most recent trip. We hope to return someday with our growing family. Booking with Les 3 chambres is truly the best decision that you can make for your visit to Paris.

  • “Like being a Parisian”
Les 3 Chambres is located in the 9th district. It is a great location to be off the tourist track and feel like you are really living in Paris. It is near Canal St.Martin, lots of lovely shops and restaurants and very near the metro stop Cadet! Laurent, the owner, was SO helpful and kind. He made us dinner and lunch reservations at some of his favorite places. They all turned out to be great picks! He served a lovely breakfast with fresh bread and croissant from his local bakery, his homemade pastries and jam and good coffee. He went out of his way to make our stay in Paris, after a long absence, perfect. We stayed in room 2, which is the largest and it was very quiet. It was the best sleep we have gotten in any large city. We would recommend this lovely place to stay in Paris without hesitation.

  • “A wonderful end to our trip”

My husband treated me to a vacation during my pregnancy and I selected Les 3 Chambres based on the glowing reviews and the charming photos. We were not disappointed! Having just come from a hotel in London, Laurent’s home was a delight and he made us feel so warm and welcome. I slept so well during my entire stay and looked forward to the breakfast every morning. Laurent provides fresh pastries, fruit, juices and yogurts – exactly what we needed before starting the day. We were so impressed by the map he created for guests, outlining his recommendations in relation to major landmarks. It saved us while we were walking around the city. It’s these personal touches that made our stay outstanding. We would not hesitate to recommend Les 3 Chambres to our family and friends. Thank so much Laurent for welcoming us into your home and for such a wonderful stay!

  • “Perfect »

Laurent was the perfect host and helped us get the most out of our stay. We have been to Paris a few times before but this was the most enjoyable and the breakfasts were amazing, much better than any hotel. We will definitely be staying at Les 3 Chambres again.

  • “Amazing best place to stay in Paris”

We stayed at Les 3 Chambers for 3 nights to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. This place is amazing and Laurent is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. We stayed in room 3 this is the smallest room but I wouldn’t say it was small you have plenty of room. The room was spotless the bed was very comfy. The breakfast is great fresh bread home made jams and home made cakes. Laurent really helped us make the most of our stay with his maps and very helpful app. He even made reservations at a restrauant he really couldn’t help us anymore. We hope to return next year. If your going to Paris les 3 chambers is where you should stay!

  • “Exquisite”
Stepping into Les 3 Chambres is like stepping into the home of your incredibly chic yet down-to-earth old friend’s home. Laurent has curated a beautiful experience for any traveler looking for a special and intimate setting to make their base for exploring Paris. Every room tells a story, filled with interesting art and books, as fresh flowers and succulent fruits from the day’s market fragrance the lovely salon. Laurent makes you feel like a welcomed friend in his private home, giving you personalized maps he’s designed of his favorite walking routes, customized suggestions for your stay throughout France, and of course, serving you the most decadent « fait au maison » pastries for breakfast. The location is perfect for setting off on journeys near and far (Gare du Nord and Est are quite close, as are Metro stations and main boulevards to stroll to the Marais, Louvre, Montmartre, etc). Truly a gem in the heart of Paris!

  • “A Unique Place to Stay in Paris »
Les 3 Chambres is perfectly situated 15 minutes stroll from Gare du Nord and within easy walking distance of many of the places you will wish to visit. Laurent, your host, calls Les 3 Chambres a B&B, but we found it to be so much more than that! My wife and I had the largest of the 3 Chambres, it was beautifully decorated and SPOTLESSLY clean and provided with lovely toiletries and linen and really comfortable beds. We also appreciated the little touches, such as an electrical adapter for UK visitors and a variety of French children’s books that were great for describing Paris, for those of us with only a schoolboy command of French and surprisingly for a Republic a solar powered, hand waving model of our Queen!
Laurent’s breakfasts were of the highest quality, there was always lovely artisan baked breads, homemade jams and pastries, usually something baked by your host, such a lemon cake or clafoutis and a great choice of teas, coffee and fresh fruit juice.
However, we both felt that the best thing about Les 3 Chambres was Laurent himself. He obviously takes great pride in his estabilshment and is keen that you should enjoy your stay there. He takes a genuine interest in his guests and is always keen to know what you have planned for the day and is really helpful if you are undecided. He’s always happy to advise and recommend particular sites and areas of interest and his website, with suggested walks and eating places was invaluable.
    I cannot wait to return.

  • “C’est Magnifique”
Laurent and Bernard made us feel very at home in their chic apartment in the 9th arrondissement. The breakfast was served each day in a beautifully decorated dining room filled with art and sumptuous furnishings. We stayed during a heat wave and Laurent made sure that we had cold water and even bought a new fan for our room. The apartment is located in a great area and you can easily walk to some of the major attractions such as Montmartre, the Louvre and the Paris Opera. We highly recommend Les3Chambres.

  • “Tres Exquis”
You can’t really classify Les 3 Chambres as a B&B, although technically it is. It’s just so much more than that. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Gare de Nord as we were catching the Cologne train the next morning. Now we would only stay here whenever we visit Paris again.
    The rooms are exquisite.
The common sitting room is a turquoise miracle of eclectic good taste.
The home-made breakfast is beyond comparison with ordinary B&Bs.
And Laurent Rougier is the most elegant, charming and helpful host you could hope for.
So the bathrooms are relatively small but beautifully appointed and, being an apartment in Paris, there is no air-conditioning. Open the window and get over it.
We thought at first that this review might be a bit over-the-top but on re-reading it, it’s probably somewhat understated. We loved Les 3 Chambres!

  • “An Open Letter”
    Dear Laurent, Sept. 21-27/ 2915
    Thank you, thank you.
Little did we know, when we booked Les3Chambers B&B how wonderful an experience it would be. It was our first time in Paris and your beautiful apartment was a perfect place for us to land. The room we had was, very clean, spacious, beautifully appointed, and the bed was very comfortable.
We looked forward to our Parisian breakfasts every day…Fresh, local and yummy!
Thank you for your personally created and incredibly « User Friendly » map… It made all the difference in the world.
We loved the area and found it to be perfectly located in regard to getting about easily. With so many restaurants and cafes to choose from, we really appreciated your recommendations and found several favourites.
Most of all, Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful apartment and making us feel so at home.
In closing, we like to stay in B&Bs, when we travel, and Les3Chambers was the very best, in all our experience!
    Thank you for everything.

  • “Best B&B I’ve ever experienced”

Les 3 Chambres was the best B&B experience I’ve ever had – period. I stayed 5 nights.

The place: Great room – I stayed in the biggest one (I think Chambre 2) and it was huge (I heard hotel rooms etc. are usually small in Paris-since space is a luxury-but not this place). Laurent thought of everything from
Convenient light switches (one near the bed to turn all the lights off), to having electrical converters, etc for our use and convenience. The rugs, wall decoration, lamps, etc were all beautifully put together. Top of the line bath products, soap, fresh towels, etc. Everything looks like it was newly made with no expense spared. Closet for hanging up clothing, black out curtains, and thick Windows which don’t let a single outside sound get into the room (you’ll sleep well). Bed was incredibly comfortable.

The host: Laurent is amazing, and speaks English really well. He taught us what we needed to know and suggested days on which we should do things (he looked up the weather for us, told us what was open, found out what tickets we should buy, gave us directions to everything, etc.). one of the most helpful things is that Laurent created a « simplified » Paris map that shows all the main sightseeing spots, all the trains that go to those places, and 3 scenic walks that could be made from Les 3 Chambres. Laurent also put his recommended restaurants on this map, and his recommended places to eat were great (most places he recommended spoke English well too). A copy of this map (which is mostly what we used while in Paris) was available in the room immediately upon getting there and Laurent explained the whole thing to us. He also went above and beyond the morning we were leaving (we had to leave at 4 am) by waking up to say goodbye to us and even watched out of his window from the building to make sure that we actually got into a taxi before he went back to bed.

The Breakfast: Wow. Every morning Laurent had a fresh fruit salad that he would put together for us (amazing), French pressed coffee (I’m a coffee snob and I loved it), and all the bread and pastries you could want. Fresh made jams (using in-season fruit from local farms), organic yogurt, fresh squeezed juice, granola. The best part was that every day, there was at least one « signature » breakfast item. Laurent would bake things fresh using in-season fruit or find unique breads/items from local farms. Amazing.

  • “Simply Outstanding”

The three nights we stayed left us wanting more!
Laurent made us feel so welcome in his beautiful home that we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Not only is the setting lovely (it is Paris after all…), but the all aspects of the accommodation and all the little details were amazing.
A custom map that provides two special local walking experiences as well as other great info. With our short stay we did not get an opportunity to try out any of the eating recommendations, but given the rest of the experience here I’d say they would all be worth a visit if you have the time.
The home and rooms are beautifully presented and filled with an amazing mix of period and contemporary pieces and artworks. The bedrooms are wonderfully homely, comfortable and quiet an have a real quality feel.
Beautiful breakfasts of the best Paris has to offer as well as a magical changing selection of homemade treat fresh from the kitchen and made with care from seasonal produce.
Laurent is the icing on the cake for the experience. Personable, knowledgeable, an excellent cook and very focused on making sure the we not only had a lovely experience in his home but also in Paris generally. He really does provide the personal touch that you simply do not find in any other place.
If you want a truly special experience, are tired of typical hotel style accommodation then this is definitely for you. It’s addictive and we would stay here again without a moments hesitation.
Thank you for a special end to our holiday.
    Mark and Heidi

  • “A piece of heaven in Paris!”

Our second time to Les3chambres – this time we brought friends. Once again Laurent facilitated a wonderful weekend for all of us, and went out of his way to help us enjoy our stay to the fullest. The apartment is still beautiful, still looks brand new, the breakfast is amazing with great coffee, homemade jams and cakes and of course baguettes. The only negative thing to mention is that you actually have to leave…. We will be back Laurent 🙂

  • “A picture gallery as well as a B&B!”

Laurent is a perfect host providing stylish decor, delightful ambience and comfort, in the heart of Paris; very close to the Metro, restaurants and within easy walking distance of the major Paris sights. His personal recommendations, attention to detail and maps of local interest are most helpful. Chambre 1 came equipped with a simple to use coffee machine making excellent fresh coffee also a supply of Kusmi teas. Breakfasts of fresh, organic fruit salads, freshly squeezed fruit juices and homemade cakes and jams complimented the local croissants, baguettes and bread selection which set us up for our days out. Paris in the autumn was perfect!

  • “Meravigloso !”

We recently returned from a delightful stay at Les 3 Chambres, and we highly recommend staying here during a visit to Paris. The house has been lovingly and painstakingly renovated. Not only is the house exquisite, but the innkeeper Laurent is entirely devoted to making each guest’s stay memorable. Laurent’s position as innkeeper is not just a job but a calling. He has put his heart and sould into Les 3 Chambres, and he oversees everything with flair. Laurent gives us great information about the area and local restaurants to help us maximize our time in Paris. Laurent delights in telling stories of the house and Paris as well as many tales of his experiences. He regales you with these stories as you sit at the elegant dining tables and enjoy a most entertaining breakfast. The breakfast is delicious and well presented. This was not a stay, it was an experience and one that we will Always remember and treasure.

  • “A Hidden Gem!”
I would definitely recommend staying at Les 3 Chambres if you want to feel at home in Paris. Laurent is the perfect host, after 3 nights it felt like staying with a friend. He makes great recommendations about things to do and places to eat. The apartment is beautiful, full of interesting art works and books. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts are delicious and healthy. You can walk to most of the important sites in Paris. Much better than a hotel.

  • “Family Celebration”
We booked all three rooms over the weekend before Christmas to celebrate our youngest daughter’s 21s Birthday. Just a 15 minute leisurely walk from Gare du Nord, Les 3 Chambres, is a beautiful haven in the 9th. We all loved the decor, the beds and the total attention to detail our charming host showed us. We really could not fault anything. The breakfast was delicious with fresh bread, croissants, home made organic jams, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, yoghurt and cereals and a light ,moist homemade apple cake. I even made a special visit to the fairtrade coffee shop in the Marais to buy my own supply of the breakfast coffee beans to take home. Our charming host, Laurent, made us feel very welcome in his home and as a treat to our daughter gave us a delicious bottle of champagne to toast her 21st Birthday.
The location was very good for walking up to Monmartre and across to the Marais and I would recommend following the excellent walking tours highlighted on the map supplied in each room. The covered walkways of Paris is a real find. The walking tour around Monmartre rewards stamina and again not to be missed.

  • “Magnificent”
Perfectly located between the 9th and 10th arrondissement, Les3chambres is arguably Paris’ best kept secret. This stunning Parisian apartment from the 1830s is truly unique in beauty and charm. Laurent’s magnificent sense of aesthetics brings together elements of Madeleine Castaing’s legendary interiors and Napoleon III era with his self-designed lamps and textiles. His attention to details, his warm welcome and the exceptionally homely feeling of this house made my stay here authentic and memorable. If hospitality is an art, Laurent should be its Muse. I will go back.

  • Unbelievable! Such a lovely welcome from Laurent, cosy, stylish décor, superb breakfast and luxuriously comfortable bedroom. We both felt it was far, far better than staying in a hotel. Laurent’s passion for Paris is infectious (not that we need much encouraging) and his local knowledge is invaluable. We will definitely stay again – thank you so much Laurent for making our break so very enjoyable.
