  • “Hidden Gem of Paris”

Congrats, you’ve found it! If you are reading this, consider yourself lucky. Les3chambers is like a secret mini 5-star hotel that only a select few would know… and now you know too. Laurent is your host extraordinaire, private chef, and personal concierge to Paris. He custom built the entire floor of this 19th-century apartment to specifically be a B&B. It’s small and cozy but has everything you need – as well as books, maps, and power adapters. The rooms are modern and fresh, the beds are comfy, and breakfast is expertly prepared by Laurent himself. It’s a great quiet location between Gare du Nord and Montmartre. I’ll let you in on another secret – he could easily charge a lot more for these rooms. Do not hesitate, book it!

  • Wonderful stay at 3 Chambres – the bedroom was well furnished and spotless, the breakfast was delightful and my gluten intolerance well catered for. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of Gare du Nord and only two minutes from the nearest Metro station. Best of all, the host, Laurent, was utterly charming. He could not do enough for us. Highly recommended.

  • “Perfect place to stay in Paris!”

Les3Chambres is without doubt the best B&B in Paris! My two-night stay was perfect in every way. Right from the moment I arrived Laurent welcomed me like a friend. He is an accomplished host and at Les3Chambres I found every detail was taken care of to ensure my short stay in Paris was relaxing and enjoyable.

Laurent’s apartment is so beautifully appointed and presented. I stayed in la2chambre which was luxurious, comfortable and quiet. Likewise, the living room is stylish, comfortable and full of interesting books and objects. Breakfast is served in this gorgeously decorated living room. Breakfast at Les3Chambres features Laurent’s delectable home-made tarts and jams and other fresh local pastries and breads, not to mention seasonal fruit, fresh juice, delicious coffee and excellent conversation. It’s the perfect start to your day in Paris.

In terms of location, Les3Chambres is ideal as a base for exploring Paris. Laurent provides guests with a walking map of Paris that he designed himself, which is just another example of the remarkable care and consideration Laurent gives to his guests’ needs. Thanks to Laurent I was able to fit so much into two days in Paris as he also went out of his way to suggest places to explore that matched my interests and the time available. Laurent generously shares stories about Paris and the history of the local area with his guests; and this was another highlight of my stay at Les3Chambres. Merci Laurent, staying at Les3Chambres made my brief visit to Paris memorable and special, and I can’t wait to return to Les3Chambres when I next visit Paris.

  • The Elegance of Paris!!!

Staying at Les3Chambres to complete our final two nights in Paris was perfect! Laurent welcomed us with his custom map highlighting spots to explore and favorite restaurants to visit, which launched us on our way. Our beautiful accommodations and top-notch amenities provided a most comfortable return after walking tours to see the sights. We enjoyed tasty treats and delicious wine as Laurent shared stories and offered ideas for our continued wanderings in Paris. Our breakfast was incredible, with home-baked pastries and tarts and fresh-squeezed juice each morning. The flavors were terrific, and we enjoyed meeting other guests and sharing travel experiences over breakfast. We felt right at home and pampered our entire stay with Laurent. We will absolutely return!!

  • Top Host Award

We have just stayed at Les3Chambres for 2 nights in Paris and cannot recommend Laurent and his beautiful 3Chambres enough. It is an exquisite apartment and Laurent is a charming host – very attentive, a superb decorator with an unparalleled eye for colour and honestly, get’s our top host award. When we arrived we were given a map of Paris with his suggested walks through historic arcades and gardens, with lovely restaurants and tea and coffee houses along the way. The rooms are lovely – ours was very spacious with fabulous linen and towels and an extremely comfortable bed. It felt like home from home except more stylish and so, so peaceful. Breakfast includes homemade granola, beautiful tarts and fresh fruits, croissants and baguettes with quince and star anise as just one of a selection of home made preserves. Nothing feels like too much trouble. Absolutely Top Host and we cannot wait to come back. Thank you Laurent and see you soon!

  • “Look no further for your accommodation”

Whenever we would enter the apartment, Laurent, the owner, was there. Like a butler popping up to see if you needed something. And of course, he isn’t a butler, but it just shows that while you are staying here, you are in goods hands. He thought of everything while designing its B&B, the attention to details is immaculate. Not only was our room very comfortable, charmingly decorated with an interesting twist and equipped with everything we could need during our stay, the same level of quality was carried out beyond the walls of our room. He even has made his own city map (read: a nicely printed map and not a photocopie on which he would highlight some things). The tips we followed about restaurants and others are turned into good memories today. Freshly baked goods at breakfast, homemade jams made of fruits from the family orchard, freshly squeezed juice, all different every day, served in a stylish yet cozy dining room that carries the same style as our room and basically the rest of the apartment. Our only regret is that, because of our busy schedule, we did not have enough time to enjoy it all as much as we wanted, but thankfully that can be easily solved by going back. Thank you very much Laurent.

  • “Perfect base for our Paris trip”

My parents and I stayed with Laurent in February and had the best time; this truly is a one-of-a-kind experience in the heart of Paris. The flat is beautiful and wonderfully decorated – it feels so very Parisian and is located in the 9th district – next to so many restaurants and within walking distance to many landmarks. The metro is just one block away and can take you anywhere quickly and conveniently. We tried many of Laurent’s locals-only recommendations for dinner and they all were perfect and off-the-beaten-path.
My room was very quiet and in the back. My parents’ room was also very quiet but had a street view. The windows kept any noise at bay. Both rooms were luxuriously appointed with terrific lighting, ensuite baths and nespresso machines and an electric kettle for in-room coffee or tea.
Best of all, Laurent made my parents feel at home and at ease and very special. We were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on this trip and he provided a lovely champagne toast one evening before we left for the Opera.
I can’t think of a better place to stay in Paris and recommend Les 3 Chambres to anyone who wants to experience a non-touristy side of Paris with quick access to everything and a delightful host who will make you feel right at home.
    Thank you, Laurent!

  • “A lovely place to stay!”
Les3chambres was exactly what I was hoping for when I booked our reservation. Laurent is a perfect host–friendly, helpful, and has such attention to detail that was very much appreciated by us. He created a map for his guests with useful information about the area, including two charming walks and several restaurant/dessert recommendations. I especially enjoyed the walk to the Louvre using the covered passageways. All of the restaurant suggestions were spot-on: we thoroughly enjoyed each meal. Laurent will make dinner reservations, print out boarding passes, help with shuttle reservations to the airport, and more. He is truly a gem.
Our room, la1chambre, is beautiful. Facing the courtyard, it is in a quiet location. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, it was difficult getting out of it for breakfast in the morning! The bathroom is very stylish and the amenities are high quality. Even the hair dryer is powerful (most aren’t)! Everything is clean.
Laurent presented us with delicious, plentiful breakfasts each morning: fresh breads, fruit salad, croissants, granola, yogurt, and a homemade treat. The tea and coffee were delicious as well.
Les3chambres is located close to the Metro station, which was appreciated after a long day of sightseeing. It’s easy to travel all over Paris from this location.
If you are looking for a charming, cozy, fabulous place to stay in Paris, this is it! Thank you, Laurent! We hope to return again one day.

  • “Our best Parisienne experience”

Our most recent trip to Paris was without doubt the most enjoyable of our six visits there largely thanks to the wonderful hospitality and support provided by Laurent at Les3chambres.
The centrally located apartment includes three beautifully decorated and very well maintained guest rooms. We stayed in La2chambre, which was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean.
Each day started with a sumptuous traditional French breakfast which included freshly squeezed juice, seasonal fruit , pastries, cereal and Laurent’s home made confiture and cakes/tarts. Extremely delicious and generous !
Our visit was made all that much more enjoyable and fulfilling thanks to the assistance and/or insight provided by Laurent on everything French/ Parisienne. The informed recommendations he provided on dining, shopping or cultural activities always hit the mark. He is the consummate host and is at all times committed to providing a superior level of service.
Thank you Laurent and Bernard for welcoming us into your home and for providing such a warm experience.

  • “Great Charming Guest House – Top situation and VIP services”
It was a wonderful discovery. Laurent manages this place like a Pro. Services, Pretty Decoration, practicals advices.
and if you are lucky, you will meet Bernard also… Two great people… .
Believe us, it is the best “Bed” of Paris. The quality made that we never sleep like this before. We try to leave with the Bed but the size made the project not possible.
After a full day of discovery, the place is the island you need for taking your energy back. The decoration of the apartment will export you in differents areas. Day by day we discovery some decoratives details who inspires us.
The situation of the apartment is perfect: A lot of Great food solution – Near all the place.
The solution is perfect. We will be back soon. The “3chambres” become our private and secret place.
    Bravo Laurent, Stay like this.

  • “Elegant and luxe B&B ”

Good location, quality boutique accommodation and local knowledge were the three key things we looked for in our Paris accommodation. Les 3 Chambres ticked all those boxes and more. Laurent is a very thoughtful and professional host and we felt welcomed the moment we stepped inside the apartment.

We stayed for 7 nights on our honeymoon and found the apartment to be private, quiet, exceptionally clean and really comfortable. Our room (la 2 chambre) was the largest room and it was bigger than we expected. Breakfast each morning in the sunny guest lounge was a delight and set us up well for a day of sightseeing. Laurent’s personal map is very useful with excellent recommendations for walks, cafes and restaurants.

We wanted to explore Paris through the eyes of a local and Laurent provided helpful tips and advice to ensure we were able to do so and maximise our visit. We walked almost everywhere from the apartment, including Montmartre, Opera, Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Museè d’Orsay, Museè de l’Orangerie, Le Marais, Trocadero and even all the way to the Eiffel Tower.

The apartment is luxe and stylish with a rich history. We absolutely loved staying here, especially with Laurent’s outstanding hospitality, and it was a pleasure returning to the warm and inviting apartment each day. We can’t wait to return to Les 3 Chambres!

  • “Delightful stay in comfortable apartment with charming host – highly recommended”

My daughter and I visited Paris for a weekend in June, unfortunately coinciding with Brexit and Euro2016. However neither could spoil a wonderful weekend in this delightful B&B. We arrived to tea and homemade madeleines and were shown our (small) but beautifully decorated and appointed, and immaculately clean, double room overlooking a typical Parisian street. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including extras such as special maps and guide books to borrow. The whole apartment was fantastically decorated and accessorized – I could have spent a whole morning admiring everything.
Le petit dejeuner both mornings was amazing – homemade patisserie, jam and granola plus fresh fruit salads and freshly squeezed juice – everything was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful.
Our host, Laurent, was endlessly helpful and insightful, from recommending restaurants to tolerating our poor French. And do explore the ‘passages’ between Les3chambres and the Louvre – this was, for me, an unknown part of Paris.
Finally it was very well located – I was a bit unsure of the area, but we were literally 12 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord and 15 minutes walk from the Louvre.
Very highly recommended – we certainly plan to visit again.

  • “A piece of paradise in Paris. Outstanding experience.”

Our family stayed at Laurent’s gracious apartment for a weekend break. This is a bed and breakfast with a difference: Laurent is passionate about decor, food, comfort and really wants his guests to embrace Paris. Even though we know the city fairly well, his recommendations for restaurants and things to do were insightful and authentic. From booking taxis for us, to baking delicious breakfast treats, to just making us feeling welcome in his elegant home – we cannot wait to visit Paris and Laurent again, who now feels more like a friend than a proprietor.

  • “Beautiful room and a wonderful host”

My boyfriend chose Les 3 Chambres as a surprise for my 40th birthday and he couldn’t have picked a more beautiful apartment in a better location. I love quirky interiors and Laurent’s style is fabulous; a gorgeous mix of old family heirlooms, flea market finds and contemporary design. Our bedroom was the largest of the three and had a beautifully comfortable bed, stunning bathroom and lovely large windows. Every detail had been thought of; a great selection of teas from a local tea shop, a coffee machine, beautiful Aesop toiletries, plenty of clothes hangers, a hairdryer and even a special gift of macarons for my birthday.
When we arrived, Laurent showed us around and gave us a map he’s had made especially for guests that highlights two lovely walking routes (one in Montmartre and one through Les Passages) both of which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. He has also included his suggestions for the best restaurants and patisserie along the way.
Breakfast at Les 3 Chambres is a relaxed affair with plenty of fresh bread and pastries, homemade confiture, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. It was a real privilege to eat at Laurent’s dining table with such personal and attentive service, and to chat to other guests while planning the day ahead.
We loved every minute of our stay in Paris and I was overwhelmed during our first evening when Laurent served us Champagne (ordered by my boyfriend – top marks!) in beautiful vintage glasses accompanied by his very own homemade tapenade on fresh bread. He really did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.
Thank you Laurent, we’ll definitely be back.

  • Unbelievable! Such a lovely welcome from Laurent, cosy, stylish décor, superb breakfast and luxuriously comfortable bedroom. We both felt it was far, far better than staying in a hotel. Laurent’s passion for Paris is infectious (not that we need much encouraging) and his local knowledge is invaluable. We will definitely stay again – thank you so much Laurent for making our break so very enjoyable.

  • “Magnificent”
Perfectly located between the 9th and 10th arrondissement, Les3chambres is arguably Paris’ best kept secret. This stunning Parisian apartment from the 1830s is truly unique in beauty and charm. Laurent’s magnificent sense of aesthetics brings together elements of Madeleine Castaing’s legendary interiors and Napoleon III era with his self-designed lamps and textiles. His attention to details, his warm welcome and the exceptionally homely feeling of this house made my stay here authentic and memorable. If hospitality is an art, Laurent should be its Muse. I will go back.

  • “Family Celebration”
We booked all three rooms over the weekend before Christmas to celebrate our youngest daughter’s 21s Birthday. Just a 15 minute leisurely walk from Gare du Nord, Les 3 Chambres, is a beautiful haven in the 9th. We all loved the decor, the beds and the total attention to detail our charming host showed us. We really could not fault anything. The breakfast was delicious with fresh bread, croissants, home made organic jams, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, yoghurt and cereals and a light ,moist homemade apple cake. I even made a special visit to the fairtrade coffee shop in the Marais to buy my own supply of the breakfast coffee beans to take home. Our charming host, Laurent, made us feel very welcome in his home and as a treat to our daughter gave us a delicious bottle of champagne to toast her 21st Birthday.
The location was very good for walking up to Monmartre and across to the Marais and I would recommend following the excellent walking tours highlighted on the map supplied in each room. The covered walkways of Paris is a real find. The walking tour around Monmartre rewards stamina and again not to be missed.

  • “A Hidden Gem!”
I would definitely recommend staying at Les 3 Chambres if you want to feel at home in Paris. Laurent is the perfect host, after 3 nights it felt like staying with a friend. He makes great recommendations about things to do and places to eat. The apartment is beautiful, full of interesting art works and books. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts are delicious and healthy. You can walk to most of the important sites in Paris. Much better than a hotel.

  • “A picture gallery as well as a B&B!”

Laurent is a perfect host providing stylish decor, delightful ambience and comfort, in the heart of Paris; very close to the Metro, restaurants and within easy walking distance of the major Paris sights. His personal recommendations, attention to detail and maps of local interest are most helpful. Chambre 1 came equipped with a simple to use coffee machine making excellent fresh coffee also a supply of Kusmi teas. Breakfasts of fresh, organic fruit salads, freshly squeezed fruit juices and homemade cakes and jams complimented the local croissants, baguettes and bread selection which set us up for our days out. Paris in the autumn was perfect!

  • “Meravigloso !”

We recently returned from a delightful stay at Les 3 Chambres, and we highly recommend staying here during a visit to Paris. The house has been lovingly and painstakingly renovated. Not only is the house exquisite, but the innkeeper Laurent is entirely devoted to making each guest’s stay memorable. Laurent’s position as innkeeper is not just a job but a calling. He has put his heart and sould into Les 3 Chambres, and he oversees everything with flair. Laurent gives us great information about the area and local restaurants to help us maximize our time in Paris. Laurent delights in telling stories of the house and Paris as well as many tales of his experiences. He regales you with these stories as you sit at the elegant dining tables and enjoy a most entertaining breakfast. The breakfast is delicious and well presented. This was not a stay, it was an experience and one that we will Always remember and treasure.

  • “Simply Outstanding”

The three nights we stayed left us wanting more!
Laurent made us feel so welcome in his beautiful home that we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Not only is the setting lovely (it is Paris after all…), but the all aspects of the accommodation and all the little details were amazing.
A custom map that provides two special local walking experiences as well as other great info. With our short stay we did not get an opportunity to try out any of the eating recommendations, but given the rest of the experience here I’d say they would all be worth a visit if you have the time.
The home and rooms are beautifully presented and filled with an amazing mix of period and contemporary pieces and artworks. The bedrooms are wonderfully homely, comfortable and quiet an have a real quality feel.
Beautiful breakfasts of the best Paris has to offer as well as a magical changing selection of homemade treat fresh from the kitchen and made with care from seasonal produce.
Laurent is the icing on the cake for the experience. Personable, knowledgeable, an excellent cook and very focused on making sure the we not only had a lovely experience in his home but also in Paris generally. He really does provide the personal touch that you simply do not find in any other place.
If you want a truly special experience, are tired of typical hotel style accommodation then this is definitely for you. It’s addictive and we would stay here again without a moments hesitation.
Thank you for a special end to our holiday.
    Mark and Heidi

  • “A piece of heaven in Paris!”

Our second time to Les3chambres – this time we brought friends. Once again Laurent facilitated a wonderful weekend for all of us, and went out of his way to help us enjoy our stay to the fullest. The apartment is still beautiful, still looks brand new, the breakfast is amazing with great coffee, homemade jams and cakes and of course baguettes. The only negative thing to mention is that you actually have to leave…. We will be back Laurent 🙂

  • “Best B&B I’ve ever experienced”

Les 3 Chambres was the best B&B experience I’ve ever had – period. I stayed 5 nights.

The place: Great room – I stayed in the biggest one (I think Chambre 2) and it was huge (I heard hotel rooms etc. are usually small in Paris-since space is a luxury-but not this place). Laurent thought of everything from
Convenient light switches (one near the bed to turn all the lights off), to having electrical converters, etc for our use and convenience. The rugs, wall decoration, lamps, etc were all beautifully put together. Top of the line bath products, soap, fresh towels, etc. Everything looks like it was newly made with no expense spared. Closet for hanging up clothing, black out curtains, and thick Windows which don’t let a single outside sound get into the room (you’ll sleep well). Bed was incredibly comfortable.

The host: Laurent is amazing, and speaks English really well. He taught us what we needed to know and suggested days on which we should do things (he looked up the weather for us, told us what was open, found out what tickets we should buy, gave us directions to everything, etc.). one of the most helpful things is that Laurent created a « simplified » Paris map that shows all the main sightseeing spots, all the trains that go to those places, and 3 scenic walks that could be made from Les 3 Chambres. Laurent also put his recommended restaurants on this map, and his recommended places to eat were great (most places he recommended spoke English well too). A copy of this map (which is mostly what we used while in Paris) was available in the room immediately upon getting there and Laurent explained the whole thing to us. He also went above and beyond the morning we were leaving (we had to leave at 4 am) by waking up to say goodbye to us and even watched out of his window from the building to make sure that we actually got into a taxi before he went back to bed.

The Breakfast: Wow. Every morning Laurent had a fresh fruit salad that he would put together for us (amazing), French pressed coffee (I’m a coffee snob and I loved it), and all the bread and pastries you could want. Fresh made jams (using in-season fruit from local farms), organic yogurt, fresh squeezed juice, granola. The best part was that every day, there was at least one « signature » breakfast item. Laurent would bake things fresh using in-season fruit or find unique breads/items from local farms. Amazing.

  • “Tres Exquis”
You can’t really classify Les 3 Chambres as a B&B, although technically it is. It’s just so much more than that. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Gare de Nord as we were catching the Cologne train the next morning. Now we would only stay here whenever we visit Paris again.
    The rooms are exquisite.
The common sitting room is a turquoise miracle of eclectic good taste.
The home-made breakfast is beyond comparison with ordinary B&Bs.
And Laurent Rougier is the most elegant, charming and helpful host you could hope for.
So the bathrooms are relatively small but beautifully appointed and, being an apartment in Paris, there is no air-conditioning. Open the window and get over it.
We thought at first that this review might be a bit over-the-top but on re-reading it, it’s probably somewhat understated. We loved Les 3 Chambres!

  • “An Open Letter”
    Dear Laurent, Sept. 21-27/ 2915
    Thank you, thank you.
Little did we know, when we booked Les3Chambers B&B how wonderful an experience it would be. It was our first time in Paris and your beautiful apartment was a perfect place for us to land. The room we had was, very clean, spacious, beautifully appointed, and the bed was very comfortable.
We looked forward to our Parisian breakfasts every day…Fresh, local and yummy!
Thank you for your personally created and incredibly « User Friendly » map… It made all the difference in the world.
We loved the area and found it to be perfectly located in regard to getting about easily. With so many restaurants and cafes to choose from, we really appreciated your recommendations and found several favourites.
Most of all, Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful apartment and making us feel so at home.
In closing, we like to stay in B&Bs, when we travel, and Les3Chambers was the very best, in all our experience!
    Thank you for everything.

  • “C’est Magnifique”
Laurent and Bernard made us feel very at home in their chic apartment in the 9th arrondissement. The breakfast was served each day in a beautifully decorated dining room filled with art and sumptuous furnishings. We stayed during a heat wave and Laurent made sure that we had cold water and even bought a new fan for our room. The apartment is located in a great area and you can easily walk to some of the major attractions such as Montmartre, the Louvre and the Paris Opera. We highly recommend Les3Chambres.

  • “A Unique Place to Stay in Paris »
Les 3 Chambres is perfectly situated 15 minutes stroll from Gare du Nord and within easy walking distance of many of the places you will wish to visit. Laurent, your host, calls Les 3 Chambres a B&B, but we found it to be so much more than that! My wife and I had the largest of the 3 Chambres, it was beautifully decorated and SPOTLESSLY clean and provided with lovely toiletries and linen and really comfortable beds. We also appreciated the little touches, such as an electrical adapter for UK visitors and a variety of French children’s books that were great for describing Paris, for those of us with only a schoolboy command of French and surprisingly for a Republic a solar powered, hand waving model of our Queen!
Laurent’s breakfasts were of the highest quality, there was always lovely artisan baked breads, homemade jams and pastries, usually something baked by your host, such a lemon cake or clafoutis and a great choice of teas, coffee and fresh fruit juice.
However, we both felt that the best thing about Les 3 Chambres was Laurent himself. He obviously takes great pride in his estabilshment and is keen that you should enjoy your stay there. He takes a genuine interest in his guests and is always keen to know what you have planned for the day and is really helpful if you are undecided. He’s always happy to advise and recommend particular sites and areas of interest and his website, with suggested walks and eating places was invaluable.
    I cannot wait to return.

  • “Exquisite”
Stepping into Les 3 Chambres is like stepping into the home of your incredibly chic yet down-to-earth old friend’s home. Laurent has curated a beautiful experience for any traveler looking for a special and intimate setting to make their base for exploring Paris. Every room tells a story, filled with interesting art and books, as fresh flowers and succulent fruits from the day’s market fragrance the lovely salon. Laurent makes you feel like a welcomed friend in his private home, giving you personalized maps he’s designed of his favorite walking routes, customized suggestions for your stay throughout France, and of course, serving you the most decadent « fait au maison » pastries for breakfast. The location is perfect for setting off on journeys near and far (Gare du Nord and Est are quite close, as are Metro stations and main boulevards to stroll to the Marais, Louvre, Montmartre, etc). Truly a gem in the heart of Paris!

  • “Perfect »

Laurent was the perfect host and helped us get the most out of our stay. We have been to Paris a few times before but this was the most enjoyable and the breakfasts were amazing, much better than any hotel. We will definitely be staying at Les 3 Chambres again.

  • “Amazing best place to stay in Paris”

We stayed at Les 3 Chambers for 3 nights to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. This place is amazing and Laurent is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. We stayed in room 3 this is the smallest room but I wouldn’t say it was small you have plenty of room. The room was spotless the bed was very comfy. The breakfast is great fresh bread home made jams and home made cakes. Laurent really helped us make the most of our stay with his maps and very helpful app. He even made reservations at a restrauant he really couldn’t help us anymore. We hope to return next year. If your going to Paris les 3 chambers is where you should stay!

  • “A wonderful end to our trip”

My husband treated me to a vacation during my pregnancy and I selected Les 3 Chambres based on the glowing reviews and the charming photos. We were not disappointed! Having just come from a hotel in London, Laurent’s home was a delight and he made us feel so warm and welcome. I slept so well during my entire stay and looked forward to the breakfast every morning. Laurent provides fresh pastries, fruit, juices and yogurts – exactly what we needed before starting the day. We were so impressed by the map he created for guests, outlining his recommendations in relation to major landmarks. It saved us while we were walking around the city. It’s these personal touches that made our stay outstanding. We would not hesitate to recommend Les 3 Chambres to our family and friends. Thank so much Laurent for welcoming us into your home and for such a wonderful stay!

  • “Like being a Parisian”
Les 3 Chambres is located in the 9th district. It is a great location to be off the tourist track and feel like you are really living in Paris. It is near Canal St.Martin, lots of lovely shops and restaurants and very near the metro stop Cadet! Laurent, the owner, was SO helpful and kind. He made us dinner and lunch reservations at some of his favorite places. They all turned out to be great picks! He served a lovely breakfast with fresh bread and croissant from his local bakery, his homemade pastries and jam and good coffee. He went out of his way to make our stay in Paris, after a long absence, perfect. We stayed in room 2, which is the largest and it was very quiet. It was the best sleep we have gotten in any large city. We would recommend this lovely place to stay in Paris without hesitation.

  • “Fantastic return stay at Les 3 Chambres”

My husband and I stayed with Laurent in April 2013. We were thrilled to return 2 years later for our babymoon. It was just as wonderful as we remembered! Breakfast is definitely one of my favorite parts of the day when staying here. Fresh baguettes and croissants with homemade jams, fruit salad and freshly squeezed juice. My husband really enjoys the French pressed coffee. Laurent also bakes excellent cakes and madeleines. We stayed in the same room, and it feels like home away from home. Very clean, tidy, and fabulously designed.

Part of what makes the experience so enjoyable is Laurent’s responsiveness. Prior to our trip (and before our previous trip as well), I requested his assistance with contacting restaurants for dinner reservations. He was extremely helpful with this. Since our last visit, he has also launched a new app that is a great resource for visitors. It is great to see that he is always trying to find ways to improve the experience for his guests.

We are so thankful that we discovered Laurent’s B&B 2 years ago and that we were welcomed so warmly again for this most recent trip. We hope to return someday with our growing family. Booking with Les 3 chambres is truly the best decision that you can make for your visit to Paris.

  • “sublime !!”

  • « A perfect retreat! »

Les3chambres is a perfect place for couples and single travellers when you are looking for a private, cosy and authentic hideout. Amenities even meet the requirements of business travellers. Sourly the place is nothing for purists but for people who are looking for a warm and welcoming place and/or for design enthusiasts.
The host Laurent is heart and soul of les3chambres. He is extremely friendly, helpful and more then open to tell you stories about his special place.
He is always good for a surprise, especially when it comes to his fine bakery skills.

If you are overtired and in need of a stronger coffee, just ask for it and you get a perfect Pitch-Black-Brew 🙂

We truly enjoyed our stay, would come back every time and recommend to our friends (only the good ones).

    Thanks you Laurent.

  • “’Mini-moon’ in Paris”
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful ‘mini-moon’ in Paris – staying for 4 nights in the fabulous les3chambres. The owner, Laurent, was welcoming, helpful and an excellent host.
The room (we stayed in Room 2) was so comfortable (the beds are a dream), quiet, spotlessly clean with beautiful and interesting décor, luxury toiletries (I had to go out and purchase the same gorgeous diffuser which was in our bathroom!) and fabulous, modern and quirky touches.
The breakfasts were delicious and served in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. We were able to choose what time our breakfast would be served each morning, which was perfect for us as we were much in need of some rest post-wedding!
Laurent provides an excellent map of central Paris which we used throughout our trip, for the walks (the galleries are a must-see) and the wonderful restaurants/cafes that are recommended on the map. Every restaurant Laurent suggested to us was perfect – we are both foodies and were in food heaven for our entire stay. None of the restaurants were touristy and we really felt that we were getting a taste of real Parisian life.
Les 3 Chambres is in an excellent central location so all the main sights (as well as the Gare Du Nord) are within easy walking distance. There is also a metro stop a few minutes walk from Les 3 Chambres and the line is one which takes you into the heart of Paris – perfect.
We would recommend Les 3 Chambres in a heartbeat and look forward to returning.

  • “Excellent atmosphere and service”
This was our first trip to Paris and we only had a few days, but not to worry because we had Laurent. Whatever questions we had, he had the answers and excellent advise. We look forward to our next trip to Paris, and of course we will be staying at Les 3 Chambers. In addition the atmosphere was marvelous and the breakfast fresh, tasty and very french!!!!

  • “Wonderful B&B”
Laurent made us extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. The appartment is exquisitely decorated with great thought to every small detail. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and extremely quiet. There are many thoughtful touches in the room’s decor which lifts it above other B&Bs. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cakes, unusual teas and coffees. Nothing is too much trouble for Laurent and he recommended some unusual places to visit which we wouldn’t have known about. This is the sort of place one always hopes to discover but rarely does. We will choose to stay here again when we next return to Paris.

  • “Amazing stay in Paris”
It was an amazing stay with my wife in Les 3 Chambres. We had wonderful time because not only the room and dining are so beautiful and kept clean but Laurent is so kind and helpful for us. We felt as if we lived in Paris. The room is so quiet and his hospitality is great. The guide map which he made was very useful and he always helped us for everything like choice of good restaurants and tours of museums and shops. Fortunately we visited Picaso museum just reopened in 25th Oct. 2014. We enjoyed his wonderful breakfast and conversation with him. We were the 3rd Japanese guest. Though we are not so good at English, he is always so kind and gentle for us with smile. The place is also very convenient since Metro station « Cadet » is only two minutes walk from Les 3 Chambres. So we enjoyed Paris. And we walk around Les 3 Chambres and found beautiful passage, restaurants and shops such as chocolates, cheese, wine and etc. We thank him for his kindness from bottom of our heart. We want to visit Les 3 Chambres again. Many thanks!!

  • “The joie de vivre in Paris”
Staying at Les 3 Chambers affords an authentic peek into the life and world of a very comfortable and proud Parisian. Laurent is a gracious host and he speaks English well. Our breakfasts were customized to accommodate both our dietary needs and likes. Laurent knows Paris and his suggestions for how to manage the city were spot on. If you are looking for an elegant and rather formal stay in a stunning city, look no further.

  • “Fantastic stay! »
We had a lovely 4 night stay at this exquisite B&B. Laurent was the perfect host and it was a privilege to stay in his home. The location was great, just a ten minute walk from gard du nord and a lovely 30 minute stroll to the heart of Paris through the covered arcades that Laurent recommended. The B&B was perfection itself and the room was lovely and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious with Laurent’s home made preserves a special treat. We would thoroughly recommend it for a special stay in Paris.

  • From the moment we arrived, we realised that we had found a special place to stay in Paris. Laurent provided such a warm, genuine welcome to his very comfortable and charming chambre d’hote. He is a truly fantastic host. He provides a really delicious breakfast including fresh fruit salads, homemade preserves and different daily home baked treats. Laurent is very willing to provide tips and advice on all aspects of Paris, including places to visit or eat, many of which would not necessarily be known to tourists. He is very happy to chat, in French or English, but is also conscious of when to leave his guests to themselves. We stayed in la2chambre which is the largest of the 3 rooms which we found to be very comfortable and well appointed. The salon in which we took breakfast has a sofa and chairs and was also available to guests to enjoy; it was a most pleasant place to relax either early evening before going out to dine or later upon returning. les3chambres is so well placed for Eurostar travellers being just 10-15 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord, and is very well situated for all of Paris given its close proximity to Cadet metro station. Much is within walking distance; on one occasion we walked back from Place de la Concorde, stopping off for afternoon tea at Angelina, a glass of wine at Willi’s Wine Bar and then ambled back through the fascinating covered « passages ». We are so looking forward to our next opportunity to stay at les3chambres!!

  • “The perfect stay”
We spent 4 nights in Laurent’s beautiful apartment. He was extremely accommodating and had thought of everything we needed in the room. We especially liked the map he had created specialy for guests. The location is perfect and we walked everywhere. Laurent also recommended some fantastic restaurants and cafes, because of this we had some of the best meals of our trip. The breakfast provided every morning was also very delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

  • “Wonderful Time”
We spent 10 days at Les 3 Chambers with our last day on 9/29/2014. Great location and great B&B. Laurent takes care of your every need and I had a few. Very quiet and lovely breakfast with a nice touch. Great base of operation to see Paris. The Metro is only a couple blocks away and if you are a runner like me you can do hill workouts at Montmartre or run down to the Seine. I would come back in a heartbeat if had more vacation time.
Room 1 overlooks the courtyard so very quiet. No street noise.

  • “Fantastic B&B and host”
I’m so grateful that i’ve been able to spend three brilliant nights at this lovely B&B. Laurent is an impeccable host; he is very helpful but not intrusive and it is very clear that Laurent takes great pride in this apartment – rightly so!
The location is very good close to Cadet metro station giving easy access to many of the museums and monuments of Paris, plus Montmatre a 20 min walk to the north. Laurent provides his self-produced maps of the key highlights and restaurant recommendations.
We we return to Paris I will not consider staying anywhere else.

  • “Terrific hotel, impeccable host”
We had a wonderful, and brief stay with Laurent at Les 3 Chambres.
The room was lovely but what was incomparable was the personal attention from Laurent, including recommendations for walking tours and restaurants in the up-and-coming 9th/10th district. The breakfast every day was exceptional.
We are so thankful to him for all of his help and couldn’t recommend his B&B more highly!!!

  • “An oasis of calm and luxury in Paris”
We stayed three very enjoyable nights in Laurent’s wonderful B&B apartment. Laurent is a delightful and charming host who has created a very stylish three-room B&B from a large apartment in the 9th arrondissement. This is a nice area of Paris, very near Cadet metro station and within easy walking distance of Gare du Nord. Montmartre and many good restaurants are nearby. The excellent metro network gives very quick access to the rest of central Paris. The accommodation itself was just perfect. We occupied La2Chambre, which was a large room sumptuously decorated in very cool purples and white with contrasting yellow fabrics. The queen-size bed was made up with crisp, fine cotton; a real treat. The shower room was equally chic in floor-to-ceiling black slate tiling, equipped with a great shower. The room was full of helpful/useful accessories for guests, such as iPod dock, room safe, power plug adaptor, Nespresso coffee maker, WiFi access, etc. Breakfast was a feast of great quality, often home-made food items. Perhaps best of all was Laurent’s obvious desire to help his guests make the most of their stay in Paris. He is a mine of information and is very keen to suggest restaurants, galleries, etc. and help with travel arrangements. His English is extremely good, so he makes everything very easy. He even publishes his own guide to Paris with suggested walks around places of interest. How many hotels would do that for you? Frankly, we could not fault Les3Chambres. It’s perfect for short breaks to Paris and we will certainly return before long. Many thanks to Laurent for helping make our stay just right.

  • Très chic…..
We have just returned from our 3 night stay at les 3 chambres. I must say that it could not have been any better and it was so worth the price. No 5star hotel can compare to the perfection and attention to the little detail given by Laurent. We loved everything about this place situated in the 3rd floor of a Parisian apartment from the 1800s. The rooms were impeccably clean and full of little luxuries, from the ipod doc with radio set on relaxing music to the nespresso machine and tray with fine teas. We woke up relaxed every morning after having slept in very comfortable and lush bedding to the best part of it all, the breakfast. This was served in a very elegant dining room and once again Laurent took time to prepare his own jams, cakes and fresh fruit with great love and dedication. He even woke up early to prepare us breakfast on our last day since we had an early flight. Laurent was always present and very helpful yet he was always very discreet, polite and respectful of our privacy
His helpful tips and suggestions were always very useful. I particularly liked his custom-made map so simple yet accurate. The location of this B&B is excellent with the metro and the 3 railstations close by. .
If you like the concept of being in a B&B rather than in a ‘cold’ hotel environment, then look no further…..this is a true Parisian experience.

  • We had two perfect nights at this lovely place. I enjoyed the interior, which is so tasteful and full of surprises. Thank you!

  • A stay at Les 3 Chambres is a one of a kind experience. When entering the apartment, one immediately finds himself immersing into a typical Parisian atmosphere – a great starter for a vacation in Paris. A warm and kind welcome by our host, Laurent, a cup of tea and a chat including a brief introduction into Les 3 Chambres let us forget the long journey to Paris and already let us feel at home.
Laurent proved to be very knowledgable about Paris and was kindly suggesting interesting places to visit during our stay. It was very inspiring to chat with him about the things to see and to experience. It added great value to our trip, we spent time in places like the beautiful Galerie Vivienne and interesting concept stores in Le Marais and Saint Germain we otherwise would have overlooked. Have been to Paris on a few occasions before, we never felt closer to the Parisiennes.
The breakfast was a feast. Fresh (organic) fruits, homemade jam and cakes, fresh croissants and baguette or bread, excellent coffee from Ethiopia all served in style. And after returning from a long day in the streets of Paris, Laurent and his friend Bernard welcomed us with a cup of tea and homemade cakes. Perfect.
The B&B is graciously styled with an eye to detail. All rooms are tastefully decorated in a different color setting – it is pure fun to look around. The materials and furniture used are very selected and of excellent quality. Especially the beds. Plus: every guest-room has its own Nespresso machine – for all the coffee junkies out there (there is a kettle and an assortment of Kusmi tea as well).
Les 3 Chambres is a must-stay in Paris, our expectations have been exceeded by far.
Thank you for the great time!

  • “Surpassed our expectations!”
My husband and I spent 9 wonderful nights in Paris at Les 3 Chambres. Our experience was beyond our expectations. The B and B was gorgeous, our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and an oasis at the end of a long day of sight seeing. Laurent was very kind, welcoming, helpful and hospitable. I highly recommend the Les 3 Chambres experience!
Breakfast is described perfectly by other reviewers: homemade cakes, jams, fresh pastries, yogurt, muesli, freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juices and the best coffee we have ever had (Ethiopian, from a specialty coffee shop).
Laurent and Bernard were gracious hosts but gave us space and privacy. They welcomed us home each evening and were ready to answer any questions we might have and make recommendations for dinner or adventures for the following day. We were so grateful to have Laurent’s assistance when our car did not show up to take us to the airport. He quickly called us a taxi and we were on our way! He woke up early and gave us breakfast 2 hours before the normal breakfast schedule. Thank you Laurent for your help and kindness!
We have been to Paris before and stayed in a lovely boutique hotel but I must say, this experience at Les 3 Chambres was far superior! We hope to return and enjoy another adventure in Paris and stay at Laurent’s special B and B – Les 3 Chambres!

  • “Charming, well run, good location”
Our stay: we stayed in 2 rooms for 1 night.
Overall: we loved the place. It is charming in a very stylish, atmospheric way, but with all the modern touches that you sometimes don’t find in Paris – e.g. beautiful bathrooms and very comfortable beds. All in all, a very thoughtfully designed and run B&B. Laurent, the host, is great – he is charming, has some great suggestions as to walks and restaurants and has an excellent sense of when to engage with guests and when to leave them to their own devices.
Our rooms: both rooms were very well appointed, with wonderful beds and bathrooms, a lovely sense of style and large by Parisian standards.
The location: it is a 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord (which was why we chose this hotel) and the location is out of (but walking distance to) the main tourist areas and has a local feel. We liked it a lot.

  • “Heavenly”
We have just returned from spending a fabulous 3 nights at Les3chambres, it was a very special anniversary & this place made it extra special! Laurent ensures that his guests enjoy every comfort. His attention to detail is superb, from the exquisite breakfasts he prepares (homemade jams, cakes & fruit salads) to the beautiful furnishings of this special Parisienne apartment. Nothing is too much trouble for Laurent, our children back in London had planned us a special surprise & it was expertly executed by Laurent. He really cares about his guests. Suggestions for places to eat in the evening along with a map marked out with special walks are provided so that you can experience ‘La vie Parisienne’ to the full. I have left a little part of my heart in 14 rue Bleue but have taken my memories away with me of a wonderful place in a magical city!

  • If you want to immerse yourself in the Parisian lifestyle a stay at Les 3 Chambres is a must. From the moment you enter this charming B and B the owner Laurent makes you feel special and caters for your every need. Each morning he visits the patisserie for fresh baguettes and pastries to enjoy with his homemade jams made of fruit from the family orchard in the south of France. Along with muesli, organic fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice and brewed coffee, breakfast is a delight. Laurent loves to share his « local knowledge » of restaurants and places of interest away from the tourist traps…….none of his recommendations could be faulted. He also has a few handy tips for simple things like navigating the Metro and is only too pleased to help with bookings to the main attractions so queues can be avoided. Nothing is too much trouble….Laurent insisted on providing breakfast ahead of our early morning departure. By the way, an added bonus, the bed is extremely comfortable and the shower is hot.
Thank you Laurent for making us feel so welcome!

  • “A romantic hideaway”
Laurent, Bernard…
From the time we first entered your beautiful appartment until the end, when we sadly had to leave Paris, we enjoyed every minute.
We stayed 4 nights at les 3 chambres and we can really only mention positive things. Just a few thing to point out: the walking distance to almost every part of Paris (the Metro station is also just a few steps away and there is a beautiful « passage walk » to discover in case it rains); the fabulous breakfast (by the way I bought myself the beautiful teamug you always served this very delicious green tea in – and I am still dreaming of the self-made ReineClaude confiture); the great suggetions for having lunch or dinner, always within very short distance from the apparment and alway very reasonably priced; the feeling of coming home after a day wandering around in beautiful Paris (most of the time Laurent was there expecting us and asking about our day); the help with buying ticket for the Musée d’Orsay and the suggestion to walk uf the Eiffel Tower (what we actually did); the great suprise that won an award for being one of the most beautiful B&B in the world, and the nice Apéro (with self-made fois grois and the delicisous salami) to celebrate your ranking and Bernard’s birthday.
In addition to everything already mentioned, your beautifully decorated home inspired us to change somethings in our appartment. We now have coloured walls, as well! = )
Thank you again for everything. We are very much looking forward to see you soon again.

    All the best, Laura&Roman (Switzerland)

  • “perfect, parfaitement, perfekt, perfettamant”
The first Austrians in this excellent B&B and we’re sure that we’re not the last!!!
Our first holidays in Paris and first time in a B&B can’t be spent better. It’s only ten minutes (walking distance) away from Gare du Nord. The next Metro Station Cadet is only five minutes from Les3chambres. Beginning with a warm welcome, a nice spacious room we immediately felt at home. The great breakfast with homemade jam, fresh Croissants and Baguettes, Honey from the top of a Paris Church, fresh fruit salad and delicious cakes is a perfect start to the day! Laurent is a wonderful host!!! He helps zu find in Paris, to make reservations for restaurants and tickets for attractions. We absolutely can only report positive on Les 3 chambres!!!
Laurent and his Les 3 chambres will be our first contact when retourning to Paris!!!

Thanks for wonderful 4 days in your city!

    Sven and Anita
    « the first Austrians »

  • “Just lovely”
I was so sad to leave Les 3 Chambres this afternoon. Both Laurent and Bernard are wonderful hosts, genuinely interested in making sure that you have a fantastic and unique Parisian experience. They made me feel so welcome, it was like I was staying with friends. Laurent’s breakfasts are amazing and set you up well for the day, and Laurent will discuss with you your plans for the day, making excellent recommendations. I ate at three restaurants recommended by Laurent and Bernard, all were lovely. My room itself (room 3) was cosy and comfortable and the turquoise salon where breakfast is served is gorgeous. I would highly recommend Les 3 Chambres to anyone visiting Paris.

  • “Totally special B&B”
We’ve just returned home and were very sad to wake up this morning knowing that there was no 3 Chambres breakfast waiting for us in our dining room! We were thinking of maybe asking Laurent and Bernard to come and live permanently in our house so they can make it as stylish, cosy and well catered for as their B&B (but somehow don’t think they’d agree to this – shame!!).
To say that guests here are treated well is an absolute understatement. Laurent goes the extra mile with everything – from the toiletries in the bathroom to the carefully thought out decor, to the homemade cakes (which my boyfriend absolutely loved and couldn’t believe had just been whipped up in the kitchen!) – it really is no expense spared at Les 3 Chambres. As others have mentioned, Laurent provides a map he made himself with key sights and some lovely walks. This was invaluable as we were staying for such a short time and it saved us so much hassle. We spent a lovely evening at one of the bistros that Laurent recommended too (Bistro Vivienne).
Thank you again for the special and personal attention you paid to us as your guests – Les 3 Chambres is clearly a labour of love, and we wish you every success in your endeavour as you really deserve it. (By the way, we had such a lovely trip to Paris, we actually got engaged on our last day! I think only our British reserve prevented us from telling you 🙂 Thank you for helping to make our special trip such a memorable one.

  • “Incontournable”

  • “simply fantastic and sophisticated”
I am surprised to see a « beware » review for les 3chambres then again, I see that the reviewer did not stay at les 3chambres, even for one night… He or she really really missed out!
I live in New York city and needed a bit of TLC so I went to Paris for a week….and what a week!
This place is simply wonderful, the weather was cold and grey but Laurent the owner was so gracious that I now remember a Paris full of sunlight!
Amazing what Laurent can do with jam and other morning treats…
Laurent will guide you if you need guidance and leave you alone when you want privacy.
Simply the perfect combination of graciousness and efficiency…. and handsome (always nice!).
Thank you Laurent for the memories.
We are already planning a trip for this fall… to taste the latest jam creation!

  • « Absolutely Wonderful! »
We only had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful establishment for two nights, we absolutely wish it were more. Les 3 Chambres was the total luxury Parisian experience; beautiful, clean, extremely comfortable and private. It truly was perfect in every way. Laurent, our host, was absolutely wonderful, making us feel very welcome and at home. His personalised map, guided us through an array of fantastic arcades and antique districts; an absolute delight we would not have experienced without Laurent. He is truly a gracious, helpful and accommodating host, and his home made jams (particularly, the fig jam), included in the delicious breakfast, were delightful. We look forward to returning back and are recommending the Les3Chambres to our friends. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

  • “Total Parisian experience – A highlight of our trip!”
My best friend and I stayed three nights at Les 3 Chambres and it was one of our favorite bits of our trip to Paris.
The rooms are beautiful and extremely well kept – it’s the perfect home to return to after sight seeing the city all day and the location is perfect – right near the Metro.
Laurent is SO accommodating and directed us to great restaurants each night of our stay (Albion and Le Richer in the neighborhood are definitely recommended).
The breakfasts are amazing; fresh breads/pastries, fresh fruit salad, homemade jams, strong coffee… everything you need to start the day off right.
If you’re looking for a true Parisian experience, this is it. There is absolutely nothing blasé or generic about Les 3 Chambres!

  • “My stay at Les3chambres”
I had the pleasure of staying at les 3 Chambres for 5 days. Parisian chic is my best way to describe the decor and ambiance.. So tasteful and what perfection in every way. Perfect location !
Our host Laurent was impeccable. Gracious and was always on hand to anticipate
our needs. We had the most delicious breakfasts with homemade jams from fruits that were in season.. The rooms were clean and quiet. I look forward to coming back on our next trip.. I will certainly recommend Les 3 Chambres to all my friends .

  • “Wonderful experience!”
We stayed at Les3Chambres for 5 nights in November 2013, and enjoyed the experience immensely. This is not your typical B&B–the attention to detail that Laurent shows in every aspect of operating his establishment is incredible: from the fresh squeezed juices, homemade jams, and freshly purchased breads and pastries, to the décor, the linens on the beds, the perfectly modern (and clean) bathroom, and his interest in attending to your daily needs, you will truly feel pampered. Laurent offered tips and suggestions on not only restaurants, but also our day trip to Reims and our subsequent stay in Loire Valley, which proved both insightful and accurate. We had a little difficulty in initially locating the B&B–it’s immediately adjacent to the post office. However, once oriented, the location is perfectly assessable and within walking distance to the Gare de Nord and Gare de Est Train Stations, the Cadet metro stop, and many local restaurants. Upon any return trip to Paris, we will definitely stay here!

  • “Yep, it’s all true…. this is a gem!”
I am probably « cutting into my own fingers » as we say in the Netherlands, but this B&B is indeed all they say, and more. I have to admit I was a little sceptic when i read the other reviews, but yes, Laurent IS a very gracious and extremely helpful host.. the breakfast IS something else (i mean that in a good way, obviously!).. the apartment IS lavishly yet tastefully decorated, the lounge/breakfast room IS cosy and inviting.. I cannot even fault the actual bedrooms – mine was chambre 1; normally Parisian hotel/B&B rooms (this is my first B&B experience so I don’t really know actually what is « normal » for a B&B) tend to be on the small size. In fact, a usual comment would be that there is « no room to swing a cat ». Well, in my room you could swing a burly Great Dane (big dog breed in case you didn’t know) and not hit anything.
I could go on and on, but I think you should just go and find out for yourself. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

  • This is a place to stay that you will never forget. Laurent and Bernard understand completely the things that a visitor to a foreign city needs: a warm welcome, exquisite and sustaining breakfasts, chic and comfortable accommodation and an unfathomable source of local information. Trust their restaurant recommendations, soak up their stylish decor, wrestle with your conflicting response: do I tell everyone I know about les trois chambres and fill up this petit bijou hideaway? Or do I keep this unique oasis a secret so I can visit again and one of its 3 perfect rooms will be available for me. Quel choix!!

  • Wonderful
My wife and I really loved our stay. Laurent was so welcoming and helpful. The B&B itself is a good mix of classic and modern. The location is wonderful and we walked the entire city without ever having to take a cab or the metro. Laurent is a class act and this B&B will not disappoint.

  • “Hospitality at its Best”
If we could give Les 3 Chambres and Laurent a better rating than excellent… we would. SPECTACULAR is the word. We chose Les 3 Chambres based on Trip Advisor, and it did not fail us. It was our first time in Paris, and now it will not be our last. There are so many positives for this property and I am so grateful for this experience, as it truly made our stay so magical and we can’t wait to return to Paris in the future. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well appointed. The bed and linens were wonderful. The bathroom was modern, clean, and the rainfall shower was a treat. Laurent is as everyone describes him- genuine, caring, welcoming- the perfect host. His breakfasts are fantastic as well. I even tried to make his fruit salad at home already and I didn’t know jam could taste that good. Our favorite was the apricot ginger. He also made an assortment of different baked goods and the most delicious coffee. The location was ideal for us. We like to walk and explore, and we were only about a 15 min walk to the Louvre Museum. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhoods around the B&B as well. There is a metro stop at the end of the street, and it was nice to be in a quiet corner away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to everything. Laurent was extremely helpful- restaurant suggestions, reservation needs, tour suggestions, etc. He truly understands the Art of Hospitality. We appreciated his efforts and his beautiful home, and treated the property as if we were staying at a good friend’s home- and in return it truly felt like we were. Laurent- can’t wait to see you again!

  • “An excellent B&B”
We cannot praise this B&B and its proprietor, Laurent, too highly. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean, had an excellent (and large for Paris) bathroom with shower. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet.
The breakfasts, as other reviewers have noted, are fabulous – fresh fruit, fresh croissants and wonderful French breads, cereal if you want and so on.
The location is great – within easy walking distance of a couple of Metro stops. Laurent provided a great map to help us find our way around, including to several restaurants not too far away. He also made reservations for these restaurants. He arranged for taxi pick-up on our departure day and was very kind to arise very early to provide us with a 6:00 a.m. breakfast
    before our taxi arrived!
This is where we plan to stay whenever we travel to Paris.

  • “Incredible B&B in an ideal location in Paris”
Choosing Les 3 Chambres for our first trip to Paris (our honeymoon!) was the best vacation planning decision that we made. The location was perfect – in a non-touristy area so that we felt as though we were able to see what it would be like to live in a residential area of Paris. Yet, the apartment was within walking distance to EVERYTHING and also very close to a metro station (we took the metro everywhere, as well) or to get a cab. The accommodations themselves were absolutely beautiful and felt very authentically parisian. Our room was just across from the front entrance to the apartment, but we didn’t hear any guests come or go, and it was nice to be able to slip into our room quietly if we returned after a late dinner. Like the rest of the apartment, our room was decorated exquisitely. Special touches, like books about Paris on the nightstands, Kiehl’s soaps in the bathroom and an espresso machine in our room, showed just how much care Laurent takes into making sure his guests have a wonderful experience. The breakfast that was served each morning was wonderful, organic and gourmet and was an ideal way to start a long day of exploring.

But the absolute best part of staying at Les 3 Chambres was Laurent himself. He was a perfect host. He recommended places to dine, provided us with anything extra that we may have needed, and took care in showing us around our room when we arrived – a great touch.

We will for sure return to Paris and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else but Les 3 Chambres.

  • « Oasis of calm and quality »
We’ve stayed in Paris several times and it was refreshing to experience such commitment from a host. The building has been renovated to a very high standard, and Laurent seems to revel in providing the best experience for his visitors, down to making the range of jams offered at breakfast. If you are a low-mid range traveller, spend a little more and treat yourself, if you prefer higher-end then spend much less – it will surprise the most critical accommodation shoppers.

This word could be used for our room as well as for our host! My daughter and I were doing a Mom/daughter trip and one of our 4 night stays was in Paris, at Les 3 Chambres. We loved Paris partly because of the experience of staying at Les 3 Chambres! Laurent was a helpful and warm host who offered suggestions on how we could get the true Paris experience. My daughter and I took his advice and ate at some very tasty places and visited some incredible places. His home was inviting and the morning breakfasts were beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if i returned to Paris.
    Merci Laurent (et Bernard)
    Les deux Madeleines!

  • “You could not ask for better!”
My friend and I stayed at Les 3 Chambres for a quick trip to Paris and could not have been happier. The location is great and within a very short walk of the Cadet Metro station, which opens up you up to the entire city. The room we stayed in was large and had a great bathroom. Laurent was a wonderful host and helped us find great places to visit. Last, but not least, breakfast was phenomenal and was the perfect start to each day. I would absolutely stay here again and cannot wait to do so!

  • For those looking for a charming, quiet, central place to stay in Paris with a wonderful host, look no further, les3chambres has it all. We stayed in Chambre 2 for four days and enjoyed every moment of it. Laurent is a hospitable, caring and warm host and accomodated and helped us in every possible way. The rooms are very clean and stylish, the bed very comfortable, the apartment beautiful and the brekafast delicious. Very close to the Cadet metro station the B&B is perfectly located while being away from the big summer crowds. Laurent and les3chambres made our stay in Paris all the more memorable and warming. We would recommend it without hesitation and go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Laurent for a wonderful stay, you must share your delicious recipes!

  • Our home in Paris…
We booked “Les 3 chambres” B&B online for 10 nights.
After a long transatlantic flight we were greeted in the warmest welcoming way by the most charming of host Laurent who then gave us a tour of the beautiful apartment, offered us coffee and his famous “cake au citron”, and joined us in conversation about our agenda. It felt like home right away.
“Les 3 chambres” is very centrally located, on a typical Parisian street, 10-minute walk to Galleries Lafayette and Opéra Garnier, 15-minute walk to the Louvre; in fact, we could walk to Montmartre, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées, tour Eiffel, quartier Latin, le Marais, major boulevards, bistros frequented by Parisians, we never had a need to use the Metro or taxis. The location provided us with excellent walking opportunities to discover so much of Paris while reaching destinations. Laurent was generous in his suggestions and recommendations and we will always be grateful for that.
Every day started at breakfast in the company of Laurent’s other guests with its amicability and animated conversations while enjoying the traditional Parisian fare, baguettes and croissants from the boulangerie along with the homemade fruit salads, jams, compotes, cakes, and the excellent coffee. Laurent even accommodated a couple of our very early morning starts because of out-of-town tours of Châteaux and surrounding small villages (e. g. Barbizon).
Our hosting family provided us with the intimacy that made our stay memorable and left us with a heavy heart on departure day.

  • Fantastic!
What a pleasure it was to stay at the delightful Les3Chambres! Such a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in the Chambre 1 for two nights at the beginning of April, and loved it! Overlooking the courtyard, it was a very peaceful bedroom, which is an absolute luxury in Paris. It was a nice touch to have several not-too-touristy books on our bedside table to flick through, which proved handy throughout our stay. On Sunday we had a very early start to catch the beginning of the Paris Marathon, and Laurent very kindly went the extra mile and prepared a delicious breakfast for us which set us up for the day. Each morning featured a bright array of original cakes, breads, jams and freshly squeezed fruit juices, along with delicious fresh organic coffee and tea. Laurent is full of top tips – from the best restaurants around town, to lovely walks from the B&B. We enjoyed a very leisurely stroll through les Passages Couverts of Paris, escaping the hustle and bustle, and discovering lots of little shopping gems and cafes; certainly a must for anyone wishing to get to know a more authentic side of the city. In all, we couldn’t recommend Les3Chambres more; Laurent has certainly set the bar high for future weekends away!

  • A fantastic discovery in the City of Light!
We had a wonderful experience at the 3 chambres. It is very well located so it is a great base to explore the best that the city has to offer. The rooms are just renovated with great taste and are very comfortable, with excellent wi-fi and even your own Nespresso machine, plus very quiet. The breakfast are simply delicious, with home-made jams, freshly squeezed juice or and a range of french breads and cakes. But the best thing about Les 3 chambres is Laurent. Not only did he gave us great visiting tips, but also he was extremely helpful in booking restaurants and getting museum tickets. His hospitality and warm style really made the difference. Thanks Laurent!

  • I stayed for 3 nights at this Bed & Breakfast last week with my husband and 2 children (aged 16 and 13). This is a wonderful place to stay. It is located in a beautiful Parisian Apartment block with lovely balconies and winding stairs like in the old movies. The apartment is amazing, and the two bedrooms we occupied were tasteful, clean and had everything you needed. The beds were really comfortable with lovely bedding. The ensuites are immaculate with large powerful showers. Laurent the host is a really nice guy who was always there to greet us at the end of our day out, was helpful with all our questions about where to visit and recommend some good walks and a great restaurant for our daughters 16th Birthday (and even gave her a gift). The breakfast was perfect and his homemade jams are to die for. The location is brilliant for getting around Paris and its in a nice area. I would definitely recommend this B & B and would never stay anywhere else in Paris.

  • What an amazing apartment and in such a great location! One night here chez Laurent was not enough and we will definitely be back. The whole apartment is beautifully appointed and has a charming air of vieille Paris. Our room had all the modern comforts and the bed was so good it was difficult to get up in the morning!

    We definitely recommend.
